I was very impressed with this place. I (by chance) stumbled upon their decades-long anniversary celebration. If you have been operating locally for that long, you know you are doing something right. With that being said, everyone there was very friendly. They had some cool promotions and were giving out trinkets and such. I enjoyed the food and will stop by next time I'm in the area.
A great place for BBQ. Beef, chicken, turkey and pork is all AWESOME. The sides are amazing as well. Did I mention fried pies? They offer dine in, carry out and drive through. Fantastic food and great service.
Good place to eat after a 15 hour fasting Great butter beans; okra needs more salt/seasoning; coleslaw better than some I’ve eaten; and bbq is tender. I love supporting family owned restaurants. Toni one of the owners super nice and Sam carried my tray to a table without me asking even. Super sweet thing to do for me and first time anyone has done that while using my cane / wheelchair. Best butter beans I’ve eaten in my life!!
This place serves up some really good barbecue! They have a friendly welcoming atmosphere! Very quality food! The sliced brisket, hot links and ham are really great! Butter beans with diced ham are awesome! Cole slaw is good. House barbecue sauce is tasty and complements the meat. They have a bunch of side choices. This place is worth checking out, drive through dine in or carry out. Complimentary peppers, chopped onions, pickled jalapenos, pickles, mustard, sweet relish, Mayo, peppermints etc...
Standard BBQ house. Food is good with all the standard options and sides. Their baked potatoes are large. Get extra butter.
Sam is the Best employee there. We went in already twice and his service is unexplainable. I really felt cared for and he proved it. We just met him but he is already family. Ask for Sam.
This place should be packed full of folks looking for good BBQ! Lots of b choices of BBQ sauces to choose from. Plenty of great meat and side choices! You can order online or dine-in. I had yummy Jalapeno cheddar sausage, BBQ beans, macaroni salad and Texas toast. My co-worker had ribs, sausage, BBQ beans, Cole slaw and Texas toast. Mmm peach cobbler! Competitive prices. Plenty of seating and plenty of parking. It is now part of my regular lunch options!
We visited on a Sunday afternoon just before 5. The dining area was charming but empty, probably due to the time of day. We ordered dinner plates of brisket and sausage with various sides; fried okra, butter beans, baked beans, pinto beans, Cole slaw, and Mac ‘n Cheese. The brisket was exceptionally moist and flavorful. The restaurant staff were a delight. We commented on the fried pies near the register and were told the pies were free that day. So we took three! Great old-fashioned Texas BBQ restaurant where the portions are HUGE!
